Animal Market Exhibition has finished…

Everything that is trendy, healthy and tasty for animals was exhibited during Animal Market Exhibition The premiere openining of this exhibition was held on 25-27 February and accompanied Gardenia Garden Fair.  There were more than 20 thousands of visitors during three days of the module of horticultural and zoological events.  

Foodstuff, drugs and care products, cosmetics, clothes and many other accessories were presented by over 40 exhibitors during the Fair. Of course, the unquestionable leaders of, inter alia, the following companies presented their offers: Acana, Aquael, Beaphar, Diversa, Gemionus, Medivet, Purina, Tropical, Zooglobe and Vittles. At the very beginning of this event, its importance was raised by the Honourable Patronage of Chief Veterinary Surgeon – Janusz Związek.
The newest products and services of leading Polish suppliers and manufacturers were presented to the visitors. Among over 40 new products, there were products and accessories for animals caring, drugs, food and equipment for very wide application in the rehabilitation.

Know-how

Animal Market Exhibition was planned to create possibilities for the visitors to benefit from business meetings and to enrich their knowledge with professional information. The training on rules for products exhibition in zoological shop, which was organised on 1^st day, generated great interest. The lecture was conducted by Professor Henryk Mruk, an outstanding specialist in marketing strategies.

The lectures on feeding of dogs and cats attracted a great number of professional visitors and animal lovers. dr n. wet. Sybilla Berwid-Wójtowicz (veterinary surgeon), working as a specialist in Animal feeding and invited by Purina company, talked about taking care and proper feeding of large breed dogs. The lecture on feeding dogs and cats was presented by the representative of Acana company.

Incredible air acrobatics of dogs were the attractions during the Salon. During each performance, the Polish competitors presented sport skills of their tetrapods in catching a plastic disc.  There were crowds of visitors during each Dogfrisbee show – a relatively unknown discipline in Poland, organised by Purina company with the participation of MTP.

Official opening and prize ceremony

Lesław Szabłoński Province Veterinary Surgeon, Ireneusz Sobiak – District Veterinary Surgeon and Andrzej Byrt – Chairman of the Board of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie. The Salon exhibitors competed for MTP Gold Medal. During the official ceremony, one prize was awarded to Andalusia company from Slovakia for a gift present for a cat Puff of Lavender.

The first edition of Animal Market Exhibition has finished. The favourable atmosphere of this event and satisfactory attendance of visitors have confirmed the demand for organising such an exhibition next year.
